An application tracking system (ATS) is software that allows employers and recruiters to keep track of applicants during the hiring and recruiting process.
I have already written once about my choice of ATS and again I was faced with such a task. I went through the old list once again and added 2 new solutions: Teamtailor and Comeet.
It's also worth noting that CleverStaff has grown a lot since my last review, but it still doesn't have Scorecards, which is critical for me. It would be on my top 5 list, but it's not there yet.
And the top looks like this:

🚩 1st place - Lever

The defining feature for me was having a quality Scorecards, UX and CRM (aka Nurture) function.
I'll dwell on them in more detail:
I'll dwell on them in more detail:
Scorecards is an inbuilt tool that allows you to develop a competency profile for a vacancy and evaluate each candidate against that profile. And this is the main tool for selecting A-players
UX is about usability, intuitiveness and simplicity of the interface. When a recruiter works with a large pool of candidates and performs a lot of actions, navigation becomes very important for him. It is also needed for quality engagement of Hiring Managers. It is surprising how many systems ignore this fact
CRM (Nurture) is a feature that allows you to work with a large number of nurtured candidates (which again is a hiring criteria for A-players) and build whole chains of emails to them: day 1, if no response - another email on day 5, if no response for 7 days - a third email and so on.
Separately I paid attention to what kind of development team the system has (I realised that good ones usually have about 20 developers), what features are planned for release.
