How we count: a statement counts when you rate it 6 or higher (the yes/no question counts on “yes”); the percentage is the share of counted statements out of 31; recommendations come from ratings of 1–3. Circle averages do not change the level.

Recommendations

For the statements you rated 1 to 3.

No ratings from 1 to 3, so the test has no recommendations for you. Open the review below: statements rated 4–5 in your weakest circle are your next step.

How the test works

What the test checks

The test is used in the Career Coaching course at Mike Pritula Academy, where it opens the review of a client's current career. Its 31 statements fall into the three circles of an ideal job: mastery, love for the work and income. If even one circle sags, the job starts to weigh on you over time.

Be demanding with yourself: 10 means “strongly agree”, not “fine overall”. The more honest the ratings, the clearer it is which circle holds you back.

Questions about the test

What is an ideal job?

A job where three things meet: you are a pro at what you do, you love the work, and your income covers your needs and goals. If even one circle sags, the job starts to weigh on you over time.

How long does the test take?

5–7 minutes: 30 statements on a scale from 1 to 10 and one yes/no question. No sign-up and no email needed.

How is the result calculated?

A statement counts when you rate it 6 or higher; the yes/no question counts on “yes”. The percentage is the share of counted statements out of 31: above 80% is a high fit, above 60% optimal, above 40% sufficient, otherwise low. We also show the average for each circle, which shows the gap more precisely.

Where do the recommendations come from?

Each statement has its own recommendation. The report includes the ones you rated 1 to 3 (or answered “no”). Recommendations for the other statements open in the review.

How can an HR professional or career coach use the test?

As the basis for a career consultation: the person takes the test, and you go through the weakest circle and the recommendations together. That is how the test is used in the Career Coaching course.

What should I do with the result?

Pick the circle with the lowest average and two or three recommendations from it. Retake the test in three months: the result link keeps your answers, so you will have something to compare with.
